In Control Centre > Internet & Network > > Network Setting > Domain name System (Dns)> I try to add new Dns serve-kde, I type ip number, when i'm try to save, it stated that "You have to type an alias first", what was mean by that ? Where tu put it, if not mistaken, when i click add, it just give me place to put ip address only...can u explain to me more details...please, thanks

Ok I will try these are examples:
Hostname: Kanotixbox
This is where you enter your computers name (what you named your computer when installing kanotix)
Domain Name Servers: DNS numbers of your ISP you are connected to usually 2 sets of numbers like
72.179.68.15
72.179.68.16
I probably made no sense to you sorry if I was no help to you, best way I can explain it
