Titel: Start von Anwendung Schnarchlangsam
Hallo,
bei mir ist der Start von Anwendungen aller Art, seit dem ich vor 10 Tagen mal wieder ein Dist-Upgrade gemacht habe, schnarchlangsam. Es kann bis zu 10-15 Minuten dauern, bis eine Anwendung startet. KDE-Anwendungen gehen leicht schneller, brauchen aber auch lange und teilweise (nicht genau reproduzierbar) auch eine Ewigkeit, wenn ich vorher eine Nicht-KDE-Anwendung gestartet habe. Hat jemand ein ähnliches Problem und/ oder einen Lösungsansatz?

aber nur begrenzt, dass alles schneller wird. Vermute mal jetzt das ich den warnings entsprechend fonts installieren müßte. Oder gäbe es noch was anderes. Oder wenn ja, welche wären das?

Versuch mal die evtl. fehlenden Links nachzusetzen, es gibt ein paar Beiträge hier im Forum.

Bei zwei meiner Installationen (2006 Easter und upgedatetes 2005 - xorg-fix ist gemacht) hat aber auch das komischerweise nichts verändert, das fix-fonts läuft nicht bis zum Ende durch, es hängt sich scheinbar auf nach der Zeile

PS: mkdir /usr/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi habe ich natürlich gemacht, ändert aber nichts. KDE ist unbenutzbar in diesem Zustand. Vielleicht hat jemand einen Tipp, was man noch versuchen kann. Lassen sich alle fonts en bloc rausschmeissen und neu installieren ?

dito, die Vorschläge verkürzen die Ausgabe, das ganz stop wie oben angegeben.
