General Support - command line copying CD/DVD's

Titel: command line copying CD/DVD's
G'day
I've been trying to master CD/DVD copying/making and so far the fastest way suggested seems to be the commandline option (K3B doesn't do much of DVD copying or making!)

So. I've been reading these two links below to be able to do some commandline CD/DVD copying/making instructions however, the tools described on these articles doesn't apt install due to "unmet dependencies" of these two files:

> Depends: libdps1 (> 4.1.0) but it is not going to be installed
> Depends: libmagick6 but it is not going to be installed

The articles are:
http://www.togaware.com/linux/survivor/ ... mmand.html
http://www.debiantutorials.org/content/view/10/135/

These unmet dependencies cropped up before with Azureus and few other apps. too!

Are there anyother alternative tools to do commandline DVD burning/copying and making? OR maybe even an addon on K3b?

cheers

You are sure, you are not missing some backends? I use k3b all the time to burn DVDs. What about growisofs, mkisofs, dvdtools, dvd+rw-tools? Or starting the config-editor in k3b?
