Kanotix rc3

nach langer Zeit hab ich mal wieder
Rechner geöffnet -
und -
meine LAN Verbindung überprüft und versucht einzurichten - zuvor klappte ja alles . . .

ich entdecke: im Rechner:

PCI Ethernet 3com Card combo

echo 3c59x >> /etc/modules

Leider, leider geht auch nach jedem Neustart - das ganze von vorne los:
a) er erkennt modprobe 3c59x s.o.
b) er findet die schei..... internet verbindung per router nicht
( router ist eumex ip300 )
c) netcardconfig und 2x dhcp und danach dhclient eintippen . . . dann
irgendwann hab ich glücklich mal net = online -verbindung . . .

ist nicht schlimm - aber wenn ich ne andere kaufe - tut die wahrscheinlich dasselbe ??

zusatz: per: lspci
kommt: 00:0e.0 Ethernet controller: 3Com Corporation 3c900 10Mbps Combo [Boomerang]
....da iss wohl "modprobe 3c900" anders ??? oder wie ...ich google mal ....
