Hi guys,
Can't get compiz 2 cheatcode / install nvidia sequnce to work on my nvidia rig - as networking does no come up during boot (has not come up since 2005-04-RC13 & later; have reported this issue).
My pervious workaround was to boot with "nodhcp" and run the network card installer once KDE is up - that gives networking
2 rigs (VIA chipset, Centrino M chipset) do this - wonder if the scripts are not happy with the central component, my 3com OfficeConnect hub.
Anyhows - can't use install-nvidia-debian.sh script - it cannot be dl'd as no network at that stage.
Will this be perminent? (GPL / licence issues??)

hmm .. if you run the script once connected
it shouldnt want to re-download the actual driver AGAIN, cos its already present
erm .. why run the script at-boot? ctrl-alt-f1 , run script
no need for an fresh-boot
