RC 4 was installed from cd.
This error occurs randomly while booting or working. The system halts.
I had some issues getting the w-lan device to work.
My Machine:
AMD K6 450 MHz 320 MB RAM
Award modular bios v 4.51pg
ATI Rage LT PRO AGP
D-Link DWL G510 (rev.C2 FW 5.00) W-Lan
Gigabyte GA-5AX (Rev 5.2) Motherboard
Creative SB 16 ISA
please answer in german or english

Maybe try a up marked kernel on left side (tracker).
