Excuse my probably stupid question, i´m new in linux. I´ve found kanopix very comfortable (2006-01-RC4). Everything runs after hd install fine, even my dvb-t airstar2, but...
After using desktop settings wizzard, where i´ve tried several visual performance settings, the Kaffeine player won´t start any more.
During next boot (verbose mode) i can see some problem with b2c2 flexcop....
and Kaffeine won´t start.
New clean install did´t work, until i deleted partitions with linux and reformated.
I installed again on hd (next to win partition), everything worked,
till i´ve tried desktop setting wizzard...

i don't know exactly what problem it could be, often it helps to do as root
