General Support - Looking for Arial Narrow Joe Soap - 10.11.2006, 15:45 Uhr Titel: Looking for Arial Narrow
Howdy Folks,
I'm looking for the Arial Narrow font for Linux.
There's a good reason for this. It is the official font (no really, I'm serious) of our company (10.5 pt, in case you were wondering) and my boss, CEO and founder of the company (also a Windows devotee, welcome to heck) is liable to decree that all workstations must henceforth have Windows and Windows ONLY installed over something as silly as a missing font.
Please, please, please tell me how and where I can get Arial Narrow for Linux until such time as I arrange to have the boss committed.
Thanks
Joe

It's one of the many commercial MS-Fonts, which are restricted to be distributed.

If you have a windows cd or a windows partition (C:/WINDOWS/Fonts,arialnb.ttf, arialnbi.ttf), just grap them (Arial Narrow) from there.

Hehe, even the copyright owner of this font proposes to buy it from one of his parters:
