(Yes, I have desk effects off, like the page says.) This is a major app release, so I was just wondering.
Thanks, a.

You would need Lenny/Sid or current Ubuntu for that deb. For Etch you need another one.

perhaps a backport needed then?

Well you have to ask IBM for that not me

Translation, please?
Kano - 03.10.2007, 00:59 Uhr Titel: RE: Installing IBM Lotus Symphony?
The software you want to use was compiled against a newer glibc than etch has. Therefore it does not work.

ahh I see, Kano. Shame that Symphony will not work on ThorHammer at least not yet. Not sure if there is or will be a build for Etch.

Did you ask?
anvilhead - 11.10.2007, 06:33 Uhr Titel: RE: Installing IBM Lotus Symphony?
Kano: DeepDayze is doing what is referred to as "joining the discussion."
If it seems strange that someone would start speaking without permission, maybe it's because you're married...?
DeepDayze - 11.10.2007, 18:55 Uhr Titel: RE: Installing IBM Lotus Symphony?
Kano: I inquired with IBM as to the availability of a Symphony build for debian etch. At this point one is not planned...but still is under consideration. If I hear anything will post a response.
@Anvilhead: Thought I'd contribute where I can

DeepDayze: Thanks for looking into that for us.
