Titel: Instabilität von KDE seit Backports
Hallo Ihr,

seit ich die KDE-Backports habe, ist KDE total instabil! Wie kriege ich mein Debian-Squeeze KDE zurück?

kdelibs-bin hat die Version 4:4.4.5-2+squeeze3kanotix1.

Na ja, auf jeden Fall bleibt der Login-Splash-Bildschirm manchmal 1 Minute oder so, bis der Desktop sichtbar wird. Außerdem stürzt der Desktop in KDE häufig ab und dann sind nur einige Fenster noch sichtbar, der Desktop aber schwarz. Der Desktop-Würfel geht dann noch, aber alles bleibt schwarz bis auf die letzten aktiven Fenster auf dem einen Desktop. Beim Einloggen krieg ich ab und zu darüber hinaus "KDE abgestürzt"-Meldungen. Irgendwie war das vor ein Paar Monaten noch nicht so.

Weißt Du, was ich tun könnte? Grafikkartentreiber (nvidia) und dist-upgrade - alles müßte aktuell sein.

Das hat damit nix zu tun. Eher am grafiktreiber. Wie wärs wenn du den mal aktualisierst?

Ok, danke, hab das jetzt aktualisiert mit dem Script. Bisher scheint alles gut zu sein! Hatte Nvidia da was instabiles, oder könnte es an der Aktualität des Kernels gelegen haben?

Ich hab nvidia scho mit 3.4 getestet (braucht einen patch), aber das war jetzt nicht direkt instabil. Aber es kommt vor, dass mesa oder xserver-xorg-core im d-u ist und dann geht nvidia nicht mehr.
