I am having a number of difficulties with Kpackage.
I keep getting a message saying that the package cannot be verified. Then it will not continue.
If I use apt-get it asks if I want to go on, and proceeds nicely.
Should I not be doing this? |

The problem is that you do not have the gpg signature for whatever the repository is.
APT checks for a signature if its not there it gives the unverified message. try to import the gpg key for the server. If not as long as you know where the server is and that it is one you put in your sources.list its not that big a deal.
Use APT or Synaptic the work better for install apps. |

If its the Kanotix-update GUI do:
# apt GET install acritox archives keyring
kanotix-keyrings is installed by default.
If its a different repo do a google search or headover to whichever repo it is |
