Hallo,
seit kurzem (keine Ahnung seit wann genau...) sehe ich kein GRUB Menu mehr. Ich kann zwar 'blind' andere Systeme als das default starten... Grub an sich funktioniert also, aber ich sehe kein Menu.
Ich hänge meine menu.lst an.

Das ist es nicht, weil bei mir /boot auf einer eigenen Partition liegt (s.u.).
Aber immerhin erscheint dann nach Fehlermeldung das message nicht zu finden ist, ein ASC II Bootmenu

Den gleich Effekt bekommst du auch durch drücken von ESC, wenn kein Bild kommt.
Bei deiner Konstellation muß ich mich allerdings wieder korrigieren:
gfxmenu (hd0,1)/message
wird dann so richtig sein und die Datei message sollte sich im Hauptverzeichnis von
hda2 befinden, vielleicht ist die Datei defekt? |

ich habe die message Datei ausgetauscht --> Keine Änderung.
Jetzt habe ich die gfxmenu Zeile auskommentiert. Lieber ASC Menu als keines... |
