Konnte das im chat eben nicht so rüberbringen:
Letztes d-u letzte Woche Donnerstag, system easter rc 4, 2.6.16.16-kanotix-1.
Ich les nun schon paar Tage über das kde-prob und nun solls ja wieder gehen?
Trotzdem sieht das bei mir so aus:

Es müssen noch 20,9MB von 196MB Archiven geholt werden.
Nach dem Auspacken werden 456MB Plattenplatz freigegeben worden sein.
Das stimmt doch was nicht? Was mach ich nun?

rätselhaft, du musst da was auf hold haben.
mach mal als root: dpkg --get-selections |grep hold
das zeigt dir, was auf hold ist.
dann für jedes geholdete paket:
echo packagename install |dpkg --set-selections
dann apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade
ich schätze mal, es ist ein kde paket.

Hi!
Ist vielleicht noch irgendwas auf hold gesetzt?

Ansonsten mal gucken was aptitude dazu sagt (gleiche syntax wie apt-get):

aptitude ist für sid nicht zu empfehlen.
bei stable ist es ok.

DANKE für die schnellen Antworten,
ja ich hatte was auf hold gesetzt, nachdem ich cups downgegraded hatte.
libcupsys2 hold
squashfs-tools hold
Dass das nun auch das u-d von kde Paketen verhindern würde, war mir nicht klar.
Jetzt lass ich das mal durchlaufen und bin guter Dinge.

| An libcupsys2 kommst Du für KDE 3.5.4 nicht vorbei (der Grund Deines Problems), auch wenn squashfs-tools keine Probleme bereiten solltem gibt es auch keinen ernsten Grund dies zurückzuhalten. |

Hab irgendwie bei den vielen Threads den Überblick verloren.
Besteht das Problem mit Cups nach eine d-u jetzt eigentlich noch oder nicht?
