Habe versucht für mein Notbook Toschiba Satelite M70-354 ein Drathlos Netzwerk ans laufen zu bekommen.
Aber die Karte wird nicht erkannt und ich habe keinen Schimmer, wie die heißt, geswchweige wo man einen Treiber findet noch wie man ihn installiert.
Kann mir jemand helfen?

Bitte Konsole (Terminal) öffnen und die Ausgabe folgender Befehle hier posten:

@captagon: Ich werde nachher weiter am Remaster basteln, aber ich brauche noch mehr Firepower (Umstieg von VMware auf "echten" Athlon 64 3200). |

Hi,
das sollte eine intel 2200 haben. Schau mit lsmod, ob das modul ipw2200 geladen ist. Wenn nicht, modprobe ipw2200. Die Karte sollte eigentlich laufen. Es gibt höchstens Probleme, wenn die Karte per Taster eingeschaltet werden muss.

Das ist ja Knoppix 5.0.1! Ich glaub da fehlt die Firmware, dann wird der Chip als eth1 erkannt. Wie wär's denn mit einem Umstieg auf Kanotix, aktuell ist Kanotix-2006-Easter-RC4?
