Tired of the problems with ati drivers from ati I have decided to change my video card to nvidia. Now I am using the ati "LINUX" driver. To launch the script install-nvidia.debian.sh will be enough? Some other changes? Remember that I have a real time kernel 2.6.18-mx-rt.

after installing the nvidia card to the box boot to init 3 (by adding 3 to the grub bootline).
in init 3 start knxcc, go to and issue: redetect gfx card, then install nvidia driver.
that should do.
