Titel: Probleme mit WD15EARS in USB Docking Station

Bräuchte mal einen Rat.
zwei Festplatten mit 1TB habe ich mit EXT3 formatiert als Backup-Medium über einen Sharkoon USB Docking Adapter über mehrere Monate genutzt. Das ist ganz praktisch, weil nach einem Backup habe ich die Platten im Tray aufgehoben.
Jetzt habe ich eine weitere Platte dazugekauft. Diesmal eine 1,5TB WD15EARS. Mir war schon bewußt, daß ich die Platte besonders behandeln muß wegen: 4 KByte blockboundaries. Bin nach http://www.brain4free.org/wiki/doku.php/blog:wd_advanced_format_hd_mit_linux vorgegangen.
Die Platte wird im Adapter erkannt
fdisk -l -u
bringt

Aber, wenn ich die alten 1TB einschalte erscheint auf dem Desktop das USB-Stick Symbol und ich kann auf die Platten zugreifen. Mit der neuen 1,5TB kommt nichts. Habt ihr eine Idee, wie ich weitermachen kann? |

| Das Problem ist mir bekannt, wüsste aber nicht wie ich da was dran ändern können sollte. Ich mounte meine 1.5 TB hds auch manuell. Wennst willst testest das neueste KDE4 iso. |

| Kano, danke für die Antwort. Hab mich schon daran gewöhnt. Ist ja nur für das Backup von Zeit zu Zeit. |
