Any known issues with such an upgrade? Am too lazy to break my system
the only issue I have is video playback (DVD or DVD iso) and I suspect this to be the radeon driver |

| It is possble to get the same mesa version with jessie using backports. |

Thanks. Ran in to a little trouble, it turned out that installling Firefox from Mint repo had pulled in a Mint version of systemd. This got broken by packages from backports. Ended up upgrading systemd and related packages to backports versions. Had to install sysvinit in order to uninstall it and then upgrade. Works fine.
Now vlc plays all video without issue. |
