My sincere apologies, I got the names mixed up. It’s ‘Spitfire’ I have installed based on Jessie for which support ended from Debian last year. The numbers of supported KDE4 distros are now very thin. Springdale 7.9 is an option since ROSA is pretty much dead but I much prefer a Debian base anyway. I’m not connected to a shared network and so for the use outlined above I was just wondering if I’m likely to encounter any life changing vulnerabilities by using the Spitfire release? |
