On dual AMD64 box with nVIDIA NV41GL video card. Is there a way to boot into multiuser text-mode only as X-windows obviously does
not work.

| When grub's boot menu comes up, append cheat code "init 3" to the line of boot commands. This will take you to runlevel 3, already logged in as root. |
