Titel: Fixed: Xorg 7.1 :: Dist-Upgrade Seems ok again

An upload of xserver-xorg 1:1.1.1-3 was incorrectly made to unstable
today. The intended target was experimental. The correct current
version for unstable is 1:1.0.2-9.
The chief binary package affected is xserver-xorg-core. Other affected
packages are xdmx, xdmx-tools, xnest, xserver-xorg-dev and xvfb.

fix [if you installed it]

I got bit by that bug today as well...had NO fonts when I restarted X after d-u. I was able to get the replacements after doing another update. My fonts are back. Thanks kano & co, for rushing the fixed xorg packages out  |

| We've been able to upload fixed X.org 7.0 packages, "upgrading" to the new xserver-xorg-core packages on kanotix.com is supposed to work, X.org 7.1 is waiting for another day (although that isn't far in the future). |

I see that other distros got bit by this too, slh. Ubuntu for example got bit and there is an article regarding it

it seems this latest apt-upgrade also has the similar bug it it. Most of my fonts have all dissapeared.!!
I can presume that this is from the xorg updates!
Is there a fix for this published else where yet? |
