Using Kanotix 2006 RC3 and have to set clock after new booting. I using this command to set clock to my current time, as a root user in a terminal window:
date -s, --set="my current time"
After rebooting system informs one hour less. Is there a fix for it?
Thanks, |

Looking at my notes, it says to do:
tzconfig
as root to select your timezone properly.
It also says to do (although I'm not sure if this is still needed):
fix-time
... or if you use freeze-rc.d (which is turned on by default with kanotix) then do instead:
unfreeze-rc.d
fix-time
freeze-rc.d
(but as I say, I'm not sure if fix-time is still needed with the recent kanotix releases or not). |
