Hallo Kanoten, hat einer von Euch so ne alte einfache Win-TV Karte am laufen? Und wenn ja wie? Im Kanotix-Konfiguration-Fersehkarte Menue gibts ja jede Menge Auswahl, nur bis jetzt hab ich die richtigen Parameter noch nicht gefunden.

Ich habe eine Hauppauge WinTV Go(bt878), die von Anfang an problemlos funktioniert hat. Die Karte könnte von 1998, jedenfalls nicht viel später, sein, die habe ich von einem Freund der die damals für seinen Win98 Rechner gekauft hat.

| Wenns ne bttv Karte ist wird sie auf jeden Fall funzen. Haste die genaue Modellbezeichnung oder weisste ne wie die heisst? |

Heisst einfach nur Win-TV. Einzige Nr. die ich finden konnte war 61344 Rev. D421.

Hallo!
Ich habe hier eine Win-TV Karte mit bt848-Chip drauf (irgendwann noch zu Win95-Zeiten gekauft, d.h. fast 10 Jahre alt), und die funktioniert immer noch unter Linux, auch mit Kanotix, 'out of the box' - klar, nur Mono-Sound, aber immerhin. Unter Win$ XP gibt es bei der Inbetriebnahme der Karte sofort einen 'Blue Screen'. Insofern ist für mich die Frage, welches OS die bessere Hardware-Unterstützung liefert, eindeutig geklärt.

| Das mag wohl so sein aber meine Karte tuts trotzdem nicht.....schade.Mit welchen Parametern läuft denn Deine? Oder wie hast Du sie eingerichtet? |

Die Karte musste ich garnicht besonders einrichten - wurde von kdetv so erkannt. Dann => Sendersuchlauf =>System PAL => Region Europe West => etwas warten, fertig => Fernsehen. Einfacher geht's nicht (zumindest bei mir).
