Titel: can't mount primary hd after d-u

Hi, running Kanotix Easter. I did my first d-u since about 2 weeks (the OOO thing) the other night and now am unable to mount my primary hard disk (XP, Fat 32 100 GB, 4 partitions). The Linux hard disk is mounting fine through Konqi as always
This makes no sense. The various linux partitions (an older install of kanotix and storage) are mounting fine with the but not the windows/primary disk.
Any ideas? I am a little fstab dumb, but saw that my fstab has not changed in two months, so nothing went on there.
Please help. I do all my backing up and downloading one of the partitions on the big primary disk.

| If you can access your primary hd from the console then most probably downgrading hal will be the solution. 'apt-get install hal/testing' and a restart of KDE should bring back the functionality. |

thanks so much, it worked  I still don't understand why only the one disk would be affected 
I suppose I need to put hal on hold for a bit? I got quite a few of them now, hard to keep track of what is alright to unhold these days.

I have only hal on hold and for more personal reasons the xlibmesa-gl package, all other stuff should work currently. But I'm not deeply testing every component. |
