Just a short note to express my thanks to you, h2, for all that you (& others) have done to make Kanotix a great cutting-edge distro. I DU'd this eve. with no errors--KDE 3.5.5 & Icedove. What an amazing accomplishment considering how many times I'd have to reboot w/Windoze. I know you've read this before, but thank you kind sir, for your wonderful script. 
My brother is getting closer to switching from XP to some Debian-based dist, he says. I sent him this link:

trying to convince him that Kanotix is the way to go for hardware detection & cutting-edge software. However, knowing him & his paranoia about security (too long w/windows) Debian/Sarge might be more appealing to him, or Knoppix. I'm always sending him links.
Anybody else have good comparitive ones pertaining to Debian distributions I can send him? |
