d-u for this timestamp : UTC- 0603 Mon 6 Nov 2006: will take out gaim and gaim-irchelper and probably other gaim related stuff as well, but thats the only extra i have installed , aside from that it upgraded gaim-data!
gaim have lost the plot a bit i reckon
Solution:
apt-get install gaim-data/testing (this will downgrade it)
Then:
apt-get install gaim gaim-irchelper
should be good to after that
