          | Are the steps on the front page still needed for dist-upgrades?  I'm curious what broke w/ kanotix-graphics and grub. 
 And probably a dumb question, but if you have two mirrored RAID1 drives, you tell grub-install:
 grub-install --no-floppy "(hd0)"
 grub-install --no-floppy "(hd1)"
 
 because grub is smart enough to translate (hd0) to the right drive/partition, correct?  (I've never had to update grub before
   My boot directory is actually /dev/sda6 or /dev/sdb6 (mirrored RAID1)

          | FYI, doing both grub commands works. Also, check /boot/message and make sure it's linked to /boot/message.hd (the fix-kanotix-graphics script looks like it does this).
